Attach objects exactlyIf you want two objects to exactly touch each other, you may be frustrated as you try to move one exactly in place to touch the other. That's because objects snap to an invisible grid rather than to each other. However, you can tell PowerPoint to snap objects to other objects:
Then drag one object to another – it snaps perfectly.
Note that you can display the grid and change its slide. (See the settings in the dialog box above.) You can also press Alt as you drag an object to turn off snapping to the grid, but if you want to snap objects, the Snap Objects to Other Objects setting is much more accurate.
